When using BIM data, each user may have different data requirements. The client, engineer, architect, general contractor, or consultant may want access to different data from BIM. For example, the general contractor may ne! access to specific layers or elements, while other users, such as the BIM manager or client, ne! to see a comprehensive view of the data. Different design disciplines often create different parts of the model as separate BIM models. This means that a single building may consist of multiple BIM models.
