First some explanation about Blab itself

The fun thing about working in online marketing is that you often come across things that make you think: “Why didn’t I think of that?” Last week it happened again, because there was Blab. I hear you thinking, use your spell checker, but it really is the name of a new phenomenon on the internet. Blab!

What is Blab?
Think Periscope and multiply that by four. Live streaming video but in a format where four people can participate in, yes indeed, a  paraguay phone number libraryBlab. Where Periscope is mainly about you, comments and hearts, Blab gives you the opportunity to involve others in the discussion. That gives a brand enormous opportunities to show its expertise. And therefore a nice tool to use in an inbound strategy. More on that later.

The Blab home screen

Blab is an iPhone app and has a web app. The platform is currently in beta but works quite smoothly. After installing, you log in with your Twitter handle, enter your email address and you are in business. The main screen consists of an overview of the different Blabs that are currently running. You can choose categories to narrow down the selection, but that does not seem really necessary at the moment.

It’s live streaming, so it’s mostly about the Blabs that are live now of course. But the nice thing is that you can also choose replays or Blabs that are scheduled for the future. The replays are handy because they are always available. This way you can search for topics that you want to learn or know more about.  south africa numbers  The scheduled Blabs are also handy because you can sign up for them and then get a message when they go live.

When you start a Blab, you’ll be taken to a simple screen with four video streams, an overview of the people watching, buying flowers on women’s day  and a place to comment. The four streams are fed by people on their laptops or iPhones. The streamers can also hear and see each other, of course, which makes it very easy to communicate. To be clear: it doesn’t matter where in the world one of the streamers is. All you need is an iPhone and a good internet connection to Blab.First some explanation
